The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes the determined fighter (played by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the team access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
